William Yan

William Yan is a freshman at Duke University. He is a Junior Representative at the AAAS/AJAS annual meeting and a national winner of numerous science fairs. His research focuses on identifying novel gene targets and pathways for neurological disorders, specifically glaucoma, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and traumatic brain injury (TBI). He specializes in gene-editing, bioinformatics, and machine learning. In his free time, he loves watching soccer and Formula 1.
